Hi Rebekah,
Hope you and you are all doing well and staying healthy in these times. Β We received your card…your family is beautiful! Β Thought you would enjoy this picture of Harley. Β She has been such a blessing to our family, but especially now. Β Harley brings so much unconditional love and joy throughout all the stress and isolation. πŸ™‚ Β We are so grateful for you bringing her into our lives.

Rebekah,
Bella has been the perfect addition to our family. Β We already know her personality and love her so much. Β I actually found a box of toys from our previous lab, Sunny. Β The toy Bella plays with was one of his favorites. Β We will send more pictures and videos soon.
All our best,
Melissa & Luis

Rebekah,
What a surprise it was to get your note card!Β  Ginger is doing great!Β  As I’m sure you know, we just celebrated her 5th birthday.Β  She’s a spirited pup who absolutely LOVES her morning walks with Kipp.Β  I used to walk her every morning, but by the time she was about 3 years old, she was pushing 100 pounds and was far too strong for me to control when she spotted another dog or person along our route.Β  We tried obedience classes and different harnesses/collars with her, but she gets so excited that she can’t help but to pull us along on her walks.Β  But she has gotten a little better over the years.Β  She’s a very smart and loving dog and wouldn’t hurt a flea.Β  Even when her “brother” Tanner (our cat) nips at her, she just gets a puzzled look on her face and walks away.Β  She loves our kids and is a fierce protector of the front door (actually, of the whole cul-de-sac we live on).Β  No UPS truck can come down our street without Ginger noticing!
I’ve attached some photos of her for you.Β  Thanks again for making it possible to add Ginger to our family.Β  We love her very much and can’t imagine life without her.

Sadie

(Sadie/Gauge: Sept. ’11)

Rebekah,

The Moyer family is doing well and Sadie has grown big and strong.Β  I will send you a couple of pictures this weekend of Sadie for your website.Β  Sadie has been hunting several times this fall/winter and has done extremely well right out of the gate.Β  Her first hunt, she hunted along side a 7 year old femaleΒ (black) lab named Dixie.Β  Sadie learned quickly and picked up more than 20 ducks without a hitch.Β  One of the other hunters shot a video of some of her retrieves but he has yet to send it to me.Β  I will forward it to you if it comes out.Β  As for her home life, she is extremely spoiled and is best friends with both of our boys.Β  She still thinks she is a lap dog and loves to lay in Lori’s lap in the evenings while we watch tv.Β πŸ™‚

I look forward to seeing your website and checking out all of your new pups.

Doug

Hi Rebekah,

We are doing well, and I apologize for not sending pictures as promised, still getting some crazy pictures of him as he rarely stands still. πŸ™‚Β  He has been growing incredibly fast, and at the vet Saturday, he weighed in at 40 lbs and the vet said his growth plates on his back legs are open and that he’s getting ready to grow again!Β  It’s funny to look back at pictures when we first brought him home and realize how little he really was!Β  He loves tagging along in the car to go anywhere, especially to the school bus stop in the afternoon!Β  Everyone that meets him loves him and asks where we got him and can’t get over how white he is!Β  He learned how to go up and down the stairs the first week of December, but only to the second floor of our house.Β  He still won’t go down the basement stairs, he just lies down at the top when the cat runs down there.Β Β We brought him to relatives’ homes over Thanksgiving, there were other children and older dogs at both homes, and he was fine playing with everyone.Β  I’m looking forward to seeing the updated photos.Β Β I enjoyed looking at the other pictures you had from Sadie’s litter when we first got Scout!Β  I’ll try to be better about sending updated photos.

Β Isla_Maggie1

(Maggie/Gauge: July ’12)

Rebekah,

Isla is doing great and growing up too fast!Β  She is fully crate trained and does not whine a single bit when she is in her crate.Β  I would like to say she is completely house broken as well but I don’t want to jinx it (hasn’t gone in house in weeks though).Β  I have trained her to sit and stay for a period of time as well as retrieve.Β  She has been to the dove hunting field once and is far from gun shy which is a good sign considering she may be a bird dog in the future.Β  She is a hit in Ft. Worth and everyone comments on her beautiful color and style.Β  People are always asking about her roots and claim she is a well behaved and beautiful young pup.Β  My friends that know her best like to call her Curious George because she is aΒ toucher and curiousΒ about everything that surrounds her (great trait for a hunting dog).Β  She will scan/sniff everything in sight and bounce around to the next thing she thinks needs to be examined.Β  She is a huge part of my life and continues to impress me with her brain and beauty.Β  It is a true blessing to have Isla in my life and I thank you for that!!!Β  If you could send me some pictures of her siblings and let me know how they are…I would love to hear back.

Sincerely,

Clay Sneed

Hi Rebekah,
Sorry it has been so long.Β  We are still totally in love with our girls!Β  They are doing great!!!Β  They love each otherΒ and us!Β  Even Sparta, our ten year old lab, was warmed considerably and really likes them now…even thinks she is mom every now and then.Β  Maggie particularly is Sparta’s shadow.Β  Below Sadie is on left, Maggie on right.Β  I will send you a couple other pictures following this one.Β  Hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving.Β  With such great puppies, we have alot to be thankful for.Β πŸ™‚

Sampson

(Sadie/Gauge: Sept. ’11)

Hello Rebekah!

Samson starts puppy school next month and will be trained for two things:Β to be a therapy dog (!!! He passed the aptitude and personality tests yesterday!!!) and agility training.Β  He is really cute when he tries to run through an obstacle course.Β  He has absolutely NO idea what he was SUPPOSED to do, but he sure had fun running through the doggie gym trying things out. πŸ™‚

If I didn’t say it before, THANK YOU for letting us adopt this pup-a-lump.Β  He’s a God-send with the cuddling and cute antics and he has truly filled a hole in our home and our hearts.Β  We are extremely grateful!!!

Duncan

(Sadie/Rex: Dec. ’09)

Hello Rebekah,

Duncan is doing so well it is hard to imagine life before he came here.Β  He just went on his first vacationΒ and was so well behaved.Β  He took to the training classes so beautifullyΒ and has done so well and is very intelligent.Β  He is about 60 pounds now and he went to the vet and got his vaccinations and the vet, Gerri, knew him and said he was lanky like his mom. πŸ™‚Β  Here are some pictures you are free to use them however you like.Β  He is a beautiful dog…I will get some of him sitting more seriously, but he is such a clown and a teenager right now!!!

Thank you again for entrusting him to us…
