Stryker

Liberty’s Sands Of Iwo Jima – “Stryker” is my handsome 85lb., black, tri-factored male.  He’s an American field lab, and is the grandson of my retired girl “Katie.”  I’m happy to be able to add Stryker to my breeding program as a stud.  His dad, “Gunner”: http://liberty-pups.com/?page_id=3149, is a gentle giant, putting Stryker with some big paws to fill, and so far he’s doing a great job. 😉  I look forward to watching Stryker grow, and seeing what’s in store for him in the future.

Keeping with tradition, like I did with my boy “Duke” – Stryker’s name comes from my great love of John Wayne.  This time the name comes from the movie ‘Sands Of Iwo Jima’ where “The Duke” plays Sgt. John Stryker.  After I got Duke I decided that my next male would be a black lab who I would call “Stryker.”  The reasons behind this decision were easy for me… (1) I thought the name (Stryker) was perfect for a stud…great call name, and (2) the reason he had to be black was because the sands of Iwo Jima are actually black.  I know, I probably think way too much about all these details, but I love it. 😉

Stud fee: $600
